The 25 year old played an expert spy and criminal investigator in 1996 kids movie Harriet the Spy.
And now she’s signed a deal with executives at the CW network to develop, produce and star in an as-yet-untitled series, about a young criminology student “with a gift for profiling and a dark past”, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Trachtenberg will be working with familiar faces on her new set – Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage are also named as producers on the new series.
