The trial of a man accused of burglarising Trey Parker’s home has been delayed after the South Park creator failed to show up for a hearing in Hawaii. Former police officer Joseph Bonachita allegedly broke into the star’s Wailua property back in 2009 and threatened Parker and a female companion with a knife.
The Tony Award winner was due to testify against Bonachita in court last week (begs22Apr13), but he was unable to attend because of a scheduling conflict, forcing a U.S. judge to postpone the trial until 3 June (13), according to the Associated Press.
