Trey Songz debuts Trigga at number one on Billboard 200

R&B star Trey Songz has crooned his way to the top of America’s Billboard 200 chart with his new album Trigga. The sexy singer replaces Ed Sheeran at number one; the British musician’s x slips to two.
In the Lonely Hour by Sam Smith moves down one place to number three, while rockers Seether score their fourth top 10 album with Isolate and Medicate debuting at four.
The Frozen film soundtrack stays put in fifth place with its 28th consecutive week in the top five.
Meanwhile, Iggy Azalea continues to dominate the Billboard singles chart – Fancy spends a seventh week in pole position, tying the rapper with Adele and her hit Rolling in the Deep for fifth place among the women with the longest reigns on the Hot 100 this decade.
Rihanna currently holds the title with 10 weeks with her 2011 hit We Found Love, while Kesha (TiK ToK), Carly Rae Jepsen (Call Me Maybe) and Lorde (Royals) all tie for second place.
Back to this week’s (begs07Jul14) countdown, MAGIC! sits in second place with Rude, while Azalea makes another appearance at three with her Ariana Grande collaboration, Problem.
