Trey Songz’s strip club assault charges dropped

R&B star Trey Songz is in the clear after authorities dismissed assault and harassment charges following an incident at a New York strip club last summer (12). The Bottoms Up hitmaker, real name Tremaine Neverson, will not face prosecution following his arrest over a bust-up with clubgoer Donna McIntosh-Inoe during his album release party at Club Perfection in Woodhaven last August (12).
McIntosh-Inoe accused Songz of hurling a wad of money at her face and causing “substantial pain” to her eye after she snapped a picture of him on her cell phone without permission.
But according to TMZ.com, officials investigating the case decided there was not enough proof to prosecute Songz and have let him off the hook.
