Trump’s online school being probed by New York state

Last year (10), the New York Daily News unearthed dozens of complaints from former students of the internet-based Trump Entrepreneur Initiative, who claimed they were scammed into paying thousands of dollars for courses they deemed useless and later refused refunds.

The Trump Entrepreneur Initiative is now one of five schools being probed by State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman as part of an examination into for-profit colleges’ marketing practices and job placement claims.

A statement released by Trump Entrepreneur Initiative reads, “Like many in this business, we have received an inquiry from the State of New York. We look forward to cooperating with the inquiry and providing the information requested.”
