Tulisa Contostavlos releasing debut novel

British pop star Tulisa Contostavlos is taking her mind off her legal woes by releasing her debut novel. The former N-Dubz singer was taken into custody last month (Jun13) on suspicion of supplying class A drugs after she was allegedly caught on camera setting up a cocaine deal worth $1,240 (£800) for an undercover reporter from British tabloid The Sun.
Contostavlos jetted to party island Ibiza with pals to avoid the British press following the arrest but now she’s gearing up to release her first tome, Sky.
The story is seemingly semi-biographical – it’s about a London schoolgirl who escapes poverty to become a star.
A statement from a representative at publishing house Headline reads, “It is the story of a young woman destined for stardom, who never gave up. No matter what. Tulisa’s debut novel is impossible to put down. And impossible to forget.”
