TV executives at U.S. cable network FX are developing a new drama inspired by cult 2000 movie American Psycho. The series will follow a modern-day Patrick Bateman, now in his 50s, taking on a violent, murdering protege as part of a social experiment.
Christian Bale played the sick and twisted character in the film adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’ book.
