TV producer Ian Sander dies at 68

TV producer Ian Sander has died at the age of 68.
The Ghost Whisperer executive producer passed away after suffering a heart attack at his home in Malibu, California on Tuesday (03May16).
Sander began his career as an actor and starred in TV shows, theatre, and movies including God’s Gun, Ironside, the Mod Squad, and Broadway show No Place to Be Somebody. He then transitioned into producing and worked on shows including Ghost Whisperer, Profiler and Reckless.
He also wrote a companion book to the hit TV series, starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, titled Ghost Whisperer Spirit Guide. He was the creator of web series Ghost Whisperer Spirit Guide.
Sander also spent time behind the camera as the director of TV movie Chasing the Dragon, and on episodes of Ghost Whisperer. He received three Emmy Awards nominations for his work on early 1990s TV series I’ll Fly Away.
