Supermodel Tyra Banks‘ talk show has been greenlighted by executives at Fox and will hit the air this fall.
The network bosses love the format for the upbeat show and have scheduled it
to run in all major markets across America, including New York, Los Angeles,
Chicago, Boston and Memphis.
Fox Programming Vice President Frank Cicha says, “We’re excited about
Tyra because she has proven that she has a real connection with today’s young
women.
“Successful talk shows are built around strong hosts and Tyra has the smarts,
relatability and emotional depth to create a show that will not only entertain
and inform, but touch women’s lives in a positive way.”
The talk show marks the latest venture for busy Banks, who also produces
reality TV show America’s Next Top Model and plans to embark on a pop music
career.
The model also runs an empowerment camp for teenage girls and remains one of
the faces of lingerie giants Victoria’s Secret.
