Tyrese Gibson was back in court on Friday (27Oct17) after spending Thursday night at the hospital.
The Fate of the Furious star checked into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after Thursday’s proceedings in his ex-wife’s ongoing restraining order trial, complaining of chest pains and anxiety.
Doctors treated the actor and singer and released him.
Norma Gibson is seeking a permanent restraining order against her former husband, claiming he has used excessive force in disciplining their daughter Shayla – something Tyrese vehemently denies.
In court earlier this week, Norma detailed her ex’s alleged violent temper, claiming he once punched her several times while she was pregnant.
Meanwhile, the actor has filed documents claiming his daughter was coached into telling people he spanked her several times.
Tyrese insists the only evidence his ex-wife has is hearsay from their 10-year-old.
According to TMZ, he claims the only recent domestic violence incident between himself and Norma came when she texted him saying she wanted to have his fingers cut off. She confessed, in a court declaration, to sending the message.
Tyrese insists his former wife is just bitter because he remarried earlier this year (17).
