The debut of Star Trek: Enterprise went where no UPN drama has gone since 1995 — to No. 1 in the ratings. The two-hour premiere of the new series starring Scott Bakula posted a 9.1 rating and a 12 share, the highest average between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. (although it was beaten by CBS’s 60 Minutes II (9.7/15) in the first hour and by NBC’s The West Wing (10.4/15) in the second. The show also earned the highest ratings for the night among 18-49-year-olds. The only UPN show to do better was the premiere of Star Trek: Voyager in 1995.
