R&B star Usher was treated to a surprise burlesque birthday party in New York City this week (beg13Oct14).
The “Yeah! “hitmaker turned 36 on Tuesday (14Oct14) and his friends gathered together at The Box venue in Manhattan to throw him a party that night. Usher was surprised by pals including Trey Songz, music mogul Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid, and DJ Cassidy, and he enjoyed two burlesque shows at the club. He was even brought up on stage during one of the performances to receive a large birthday cake, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six. The star shared a picture of himself standing onstage with a number of the dancers, adding in a post on Twitter, “Thank U (sic) everyone for all the amazing bday (birthday) wishes! Feels good to be 28 (sic)… Love y’all #XXXVI.”
