Val Kilmer offers up film gear and artwork for auction

Val Kilmer is cleaning out his closets and auctioning off a collection of keepsakes and art works.
Among the items going under the hammer at Celebrity Authentics Auctions are a shirt he wore in Batman Forever, a custom-made hat from his critically mauled 1996 thriller The Ghost In The Darkness, and a replica of the black hat he wore as western hero Doc Holliday in Tombstone.
Val is also offering up a signed copy of his self-published 1983 poetry collection, My Edens After Burns, and various pieces of art he has created over the years.
The live portion of the auction begins on Saturday (24Aug19), but bidding has already started on the top items.
“I went through my archives and have partnered with my friends at Celebrity Authentics Auctions to help them find a new home,” the actor tweeted. “They’ve got more than 60 articles, including my early book of poetry, original art and even a few screen worn gems. Good luck!”
