Singer/songwriter Vanessa Carlton is giving wealthy fans the chance to rent out her luxury New York apartment by placing it on the market for just under $18,000 (£11,250)-a-month. The A Thousand Miles star purchased the two bedroom home in Manhattan’s trendy SoHo district in 2004, but she has since decided to move out and is hoping to lease the spacious pad to another rich resident.
Carlton bought the space, which features exposed brick walls and natural wood flooring, in 2004 for $1.83 million (£1.14 million).
