Victoria Beckham: ‘Life’s too short to regret Spice Girls outfit choices’

Victoria Beckham has no regrets when it comes to her iconic Spice Girls fashion choices.

The singer-turned-fashion designer’s personal style has evolved significantly since her time in the ‘90s girl group, where she performed alongside bandmates Mel B, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Mel C.

During her time as Posh Spice, the star wore outfits that spanned LBDs to miniskirts worn with bikini tops.

Victoria took a retrospective look at some of her “bold” choices during a new interview for Grazia magazine, and admitted that she only has fond memories of her most eccentric looks.

“Have you seen some of the Spice Girls outfits? Some looks have been quite bold,” she laughed. “But they’re part of my journey and what’s made me who I am today, so I don’t regret them. Life’s too short to regret outfit choices!”

While the star is perhaps best known for her love of heels and high fashion, she recently collaborated with sportswear brand Reebok, creating a unisex line boasting hoodies, sweatpants, crop tops, leggings, socks, sneakers, and more.

Joking that the line has turned her into Mel C’s alter ego Sporty Spice, Victoria says that, as her style has evolved, she’s developed a penchant for more practical pieces.

“Now I choose pieces that make my life simpler, things that are easy to wear and practical,” the 44-year-old admitted. “If you look good, you feel good.”

While she won’t be joining her former bandmates on their Spice World – 2019 Tour, she suggested that she now aims to channel the five-piece’s “girl power” mantra through her fashion business.
“I want women who wear my pieces to feel like the best version of themselves,” she said.
