Victoria Beckham ‘so excited’ to launch her own beauty line

Victoria Beckham is “so excited” as she gears up to launch her first beauty line later this year (19).

The Spice Girls star turned fashion designer has turned her hand to make-up before, teaming up with Estee Lauder on two limited-edition Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder cosmetic collections three years ago, but Victoria Beckham Beauty will be her first solo venture into the industry.

Victoria took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce the thrilling news, sharing a video of herself in a striped shirt as she told the camera: “So I’m very excited to announce I’m about to launch Victoria Beckham Beauty.”

She then panned the phone camera over to where she’d written “VB Beauty” on the mirror in lipstick.

Victoria captioned her Instagram video by writing: “SO excited to announce that I will be launching Victoria Beckham Beauty later this year! Cannot wait to be able to share it with you!! Subscribe at the link in bio for exclusive news and updates. #VBBeauty x Kisses.”

According to Women’s Wear Daily, Victoria Beckham Beauty will be launched as a “pure digital native brand” for fall/winter 2019, and will be headed up by co-founder and chief executive officer Sarah Creal, who has previously worked with companies such as Prada and Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.

Sarah also worked as head of global make-up development and marketing at Estee Lauder, where she first met and collaborated with Victoria on the capsule collections.

Meanwhile, Vogue reported that Victoria Beckham Beauty won’t just include make-up, but will also offer skincare, fragrance and “wellness”, which the outlet speculated could mean vitamins and supplements.

It will be available to buy on victoriabeckham.com.
