Warren Sapp’s shoe collection sold at bankruptcy auction

U.S. football star Warren Sapp’s shoes have been sold in a bankruptcy auction. More than 200 pairs of Nike running shoes were seized from the sportsman by a court-appointed bankruptcy trustee after he racked up millions of dollars of debt last year (12), according to a report on TMZ.com.
A buyer from Connecticut paid $6,390 (£4,260) for the shoes that were sold in a bid to regain the lost fortune.
Sapp filed for bankruptcy owing more than $6.7 million (£4.5 million) to creditors and has been forced to sell many of his prized possessions.
