Wes Scantlin pleads not guilty to vandalism

Puddle of Mudd rocker Wes Scantlin has pleaded not guilty to a felony vandalism charge.
The embattled singer stands accused of breaking into the Hollywood Hills home he recently lost to foreclosure on 9 January (16) and allegedly causing $7,000 (£4,790)-worth of damage.
Scantlin, 43, was slapped with the vandalism charge and a misdemeanour count of trespassing on Wednesday (03Feb16), but he missed his arraignment hearing later that day and instead returned to a Los Angeles court on Friday (05Feb16), when he entered his plea.
He faces up to three years in jail if convicted.
The latest developments emerge almost a week after the troubled star cut short his band’s concert at the Adelphia Music Hall in Marietta, Ohio last weekend (30Jan16) and stormed offstage after aiming a foul-mouthed tirade at a member of the audience he accused of stealing his house.
“Keep your goddamn money,” Wes shouted in a video obtained by WQLZ.com. “F**k it. This motherf**ker right here stole my motherf**king house and now he’s standing right f**king in front of me laughing at me.”
It is unclear exactly who Scantlin was addressing in the footage.
