Australian publicists for the upcoming Tom Cruise/ Penelope Cruz
starrer Vanilla Sky may be facing a troublesome challenge when
the film premieres in Sydney on Dec. 20.
The Victoria Herald Sun
reported that during the recent screening of trailers for the movie,
crowds have booed Cruz when she appears on screen.
Noting that the two
stars have said that they will attend the Sydney premiere together, the
newspaper commented: that Cruz’s “stroll down the red carpet on Cruise’s
arm in the hometown of his crowd-favorite ex, Nicole Kidman, should be a
very interesting spectacle indeed.”
