Will Smith can’t find a New York pad

Will Smith has been looking to sublet an apartment in New York City for one month for up to $80,000 but has thus far not found anything to his liking, the New York Post reported today.

The newspaper said that among the dwellings rejected by Smith was a $40,000-per-month apartment at the Octavia building on East 47th street that supposedly affords residents “privacy to the extreme.”

But the Post implied that the privacy is not extreme enough for Smith, who is planning to put the finishing touches on a new rap album while he is in the city, which he plans to use as a base while he is promoting Ali in Europe.
