William Shatner remembers late actress Christine White

William Shatner has paid tribute to his The Twilight Zone co-star Christine White after learning of her death at the age of 86. She passed away on 14 April (13) at a nursing home in Washington, D.C., but her death was only publicised in a recent notice in The Carroll County Times in Maryland.
The actress, also known as Christine Lamson White, enjoyed a career spanning over 20 years and appeared in more than 50 movies and TV series, including shows like Perry Mason, The Loretta Young Show and Bonanza.
However, her most memorable role will perhaps be in 1960s series The Twilight Zone, in which she appeared alongside Shatner in the episode titled, Nightmare at 20,000 Feet, about a gremlin he believes he saw destroying the plane’s wing.
Upon hearing the news of her passing, Shatner took to his Twitter.com blog and wrote, “Thoughts go out to the family of my Twilight Zone co-star Christine Lamson.”
