Winona Ryder to help honour Samuel Beckett at special festival

Actress Winona Ryder will help honour late writer Samuel Beckett next month (Aug13) by reading extracts of his work at a festival in Northern Ireland. The Black Swan star will join Julianne Moore in celebrating the novelist at The Happy Days Enniskillen International Beckett Festival, which kicks off on 22 August (13).
Ryder, who starred in a 2007 film version of Happy Days, is also scheduled to participate in a video installation of the Nobel Prize-winner’s two-act play, which features the actress buried up to her neck in sand.
Attendees will also get the chance to see and hear Moore reciting Beckett’s monologue Not I.
