The Titanic star was said to have rekindled her romance with the hunk last month (Jun11) after they went their separate ways in November (10). The couple began dating after Winslet split from husband Sam Mendes last year (10).
Now Dowler has fuelled speculation their relationship has blossomed further after introducing the Oscar winner to his relatives this week (ends24Jul11).
The pair was spotted walking through Dowler’s hometown of Penzance on Wednesday (20Jul11), enjoying a stroll down the historic Chapel Street before stopping at a local fish market.
And it seems Winslet has won the Dowler seal of approval, with his sister Natasha telling the Daily Mirror, “They were only on holiday down here for a short while. He brought her down to meet me for lunch last Wednesday and she was lovely.”
Dowler’s grandfather Jack Pearce adds, “He brought Kate round… and it is the first time I have met her. We went for a pub lunch. She is a very attractive girl. She was very polite and friendly. They didn’t talk to me much about their personal life but they seemed very much together.”
