Wrestler Daniel Bryan retiring due to medical reasons

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan has announced he is retiring from the ring.
The 34-year-old began wrestling professionally in 2000 after signing a developmental deal with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). He was released from his contract in 2001 and subsequently toured the world competing for many different companies.
In 2005, he won the ROH World Championship after defeating James Gibson for the title, and he went on to sign with the WWE in 2009. He has held the WWE World Heavyweight Championship title three times and the World Heavyweight Championship title once.
Bryan is now looking to step out of the ring because of his injuries.
“Due to medical reasons, effective immediately, I am announcing my retirement,” he wrote on Twitter.com on Monday (08Feb16). “Tonight on Raw, I’ll have a chance to elaborate. #gratitude.”
