WWE Diva wrestler Emma arrested for misdemeanour larceny

WWE Diva wrestler Emma has been sentenced to serve one day of community service after she was accused of stealing an iPad case from a U.S. superstore. Security officials at a Wal-Mart store in Hartford, Connecticut apprehended the Australian sportswoman, real name Tenille Dashwood, on Monday night (30Jun14) after spotting her exiting the building with a $21.14 (£12.44) red iPad Mini case she had not paid for.
Police took her into custody and she was booked for misdemeanour larceny in the sixth degree, reports TMZ.com.
She appeared in court on Tuesday (01Jul14), when she was handed the light punishment.
The 25 year old’s lawyer claimed the whole incident was an innocent mistake after she struggled to navigate a self-checkout machine.
Dashwood was in the area for a WWE Raw event in the city.
