Xzibit sues construction company he hired to remodel backyard

Rapper Xzibit and his wife have filed a lawsuit against bosses at a construction company they allege never finished work on their Los Angeles home.
The star and his wife Krista Joiner claim workers at Edge Water Construction were hired to build a backyard oasis, complete with a pool, spa, wine bar, and cabana, but dragged out the process. According to documents obtained by TMZ, Xzibit is alleging the work that was done, which cost $397,000 (£300,000) was faulty.
The 43-year-old, real name Alvin Joiner, explains in the suit that the pool had dangerously sharp edges that cut his 8-year-old son’s feet. He also maintains parts of the pool and spa weren’t waterproofed.
The couple are seeking $250,000 (£190,00) in damages.
A representative for Edge Water is defending the company, claiming the work was stopped when Xzibit failed to pay the $178,000 (£135,000) he owed.
