Charlotte Leatherbarrow, who played a ballerina in the long-running stage production in the U.K. capital, was reportedly struck by a bus near her home in Herne Hill on Thursday (17Mar11).
The children’s dance captain on the show, Alan Bradshaw, has paid tribute to the 12 year old, saying, “Charlotte was the most adorable girl. She was lively and energetic, had a wonderful smile and was an absolute pleasure to work with.”
Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident.
