British royal Zara Phillips is pregnant with her first child. Queen Elizabeth II’s granddaughter is expecting a baby with her rugby player husband Mike Tindall next year (14).
The monarch’s press secretary says, “Mr and Mrs Mike Tindall are very pleased to announce that Zara Tindall is expecting a baby in the new year… Members of both families are delighted with the news.
“This baby will be the first child for Mike and Zara and the third grandchild for the Princess Royal.”
Phillips’ mother is Queen Elizabeth II’s daughter, Anne, Princess Royal.
The couple wed in Scotland in 2011.
