The Hollywood Agent is a convenient way to keep track of all your favorite entertainment venues, including movie theaters, arenas, clubs and more. It's your one-stop ticket to, well, tickets. And showtimes. And concerts. And sporting events. And all the other great local entertainment you can now find right here on Hollywood.com.
But the Hollywood Agent does more than just keep track of your favorite places. Like any good agent, it's pretty smart, and it can recommend content it thinks you'll like...kind of like a real Hollywood agent recommends parts to the stars, right?
It works like this. Any time you see this symbol:
that means you can rate the content. that means you can rate the content. Roll your mouse over the faces to see what your ratings mean for each different kind of rateable content, then click to rate it! (Next to the ratings faces, you'll also see the average user rating.)
The more content you rate, the better your recommendations will ultimately be. Why? Because your Agent creates a community of like-minded people who've rated the same or similar content highly, and then uses their ratings to recommend content to you that you haven't yet rated.
Your recommendations will stay in your Hollywood Agent under the Recommendations tab until you rate them.
