The actress was approached by Bond boss Broccoli at a party in London at the height of her fame, and instead of trying to impress the industry hotshot, Bach thought her name was a joke and shot back with a sarcastic reply.
She tells Britain’s Birmingham Mail newspaper, “I was at a party in London when I met Bond producer Barbara Broccoli.
“She introduced herself and I didn’t believe her name. So I just replied: ‘Yeah, and I’m Cathy Carrot.’ I think maybe I got off on the wrong foot!”

Broccoli started work on the film series with her producer father Albert R. ‘Cubby’ Broccoli when she was just 17, and has produced the last seven Bond movies, including new film Skyfall.
