Synopsis:

Shot entirely on May 4, 1998, Dutch Memorial Day, filmmaker Heddy Honigmann and twelve separate crews follow World War II survivors and their famalies on this particularly solemn day. Interviewing, among others, the families of Holocaust victims, non-Jewish veterans and the daughter of a Nazi sympathizer, the film culminates in a period of two minutes silence at 8pm in memory of those who died in the war.
