In this broad comedy from Mexico, a dwarf gunslinger kills a gangster who has been demanding protection money from the proprietors of a local diner. This seeming bit of good news has an unexpected side effect -- business at the diner goes bad, the owners go to jail, and the kitchen staff and waiters are all stuck without jobs. Needing work, one of the cooks learns that a wealthy rancher is looking to hire a maid; he disguises himself as a woman and gets the job. However, things take a strange turn when the rancher becomes infatuated with his new maid, and the cook has a hard time brushing off his advances.
