Synopsis:
A young woman raised in the forest by her father falls in love with a Canadian civil servant and writer. After having endured an assault and the murder of her father at the hands of a lustful villian, the young couple marry. They travel to the Arctic on a whaling schooner captained by the evil villain. His murderous intentions are foiled by the dog Wapi and the young woman is able to drive her sick husband over the ice by dogsled to safety.
