A man faces an old family curse in this dramatic fantasy from Mexican director Ignacio Ortiz Cruz. Upon returning to his hometown, the man discovers that for generations his ancestors have been plagued by a mystical spell originally placed on his great-grandfather. Intending to prevent his son from having to live with this same haunting fate, the man attempts to put an end to the curse once and for all.
