The young people of Beijing in this Chinese movie are very energetically working to get ahead in their lives financially and romantically. Unfortunately for the young bus driver who has a thing for a girl who takes tickets for his bus, money is not all it takes to impress her, even though he goes to great lengths to acquire some. She is much more interested in a serious, sincere young man from Singapore who, as a student, is improving his mind rather than his pocketbook.
