Synopsis:
In Paris, a young, unfaithful wife is repudiated by her husband and his upper class family. She reverts to her old lifestyle of liquor, multiple cigarettes and one-night stands until she winds up passed out at "Le Trou/The Hole," a bar restaurant near Versailles. There she is taken in by an older woman who patiently guides her towards stability, whereupon the younger woman betrays her saviour.
