Yu Yu Hakusho director Noriyuki Abe keeps his focus squarely in the realm of the supernatural with this fantasy adventure about a town infested with unidentifiable spirits, and the mysterious female shinigami named Senna. Karakura Town has recently seen an outbreak of specters known as "blanks" (vacant souls). Now, as the real world is reflected in the skies over Soul City, shinigami Senna and a man named Ganryu appear before Ichigo to lead a powerful group of warriors known as the "Dark Ones."
