Synopsis:

In a Paris of broken dreams, unemployed actress Nina attempts suicide, passing out in a park. She's saved from death by Algerian jogger Sami, who finds her and brings her to the hospital. After getting out, Nina looks up Sami and discovers he's working as a transvestite prostitute. The two form an unusual bond. Desperate to escape their unhappy lives, they make a promise to each other: Nina will return to acting while Sami will quit heroin and begin running marathons again.
