Synopsis

During the 19th and 20th centuries, Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Jane Addams worked hard to advance American women's rights. This program notes many of their contributions, including the 1881 publication of the History of Woman Suffrage written by Anthony and Stanton, and the subsequent 1900 formation of the National American Woman Suffrage Association. This program is recommended for children ages 12 and above.
