Synopsis

Peter is a Swedish soldier, absent without leave after discovering his girlfriend's unfaithfulness to him. He is traveling south to Stockholm from the north of Sweden, possibly to confront his girlfriend, possibly to return to his post. He meets Hanna and her father along the way and travels with them. Hanna and her father had been separated for a long time and are enjoying a reunion. As they journey together, the little adventures and dramas they encounter draw them closer together, and by the time they reach Stockholm, Peter has a new girlfriend.
