HOLLYWOOD, Sept. 7, 2000 -- Before the big, bad strike hits Hollywood next year, is Heather Graham going to have a quickie? Looks that way. Daily Variety is reporting that Graham is attaching herself to a script called ".45," a comedy about a Bonnie and Clyde-type couple of gunslingers who turn on each other. The newspaper says the film might be shot before the much-feared actors' labor halt. Graham's involvement requires her approval of a male co-star, who hasn't been cast yet. Hmmm. Maybe it'll be Heath Ledger, who is apparently Graham's latest love conquest. HOLLYWOOD, July 14, 2000 -- Love is in the air for Heath Ledger and George Clooney. Or so says the rumor mill. Gossip columnist Jeannette Walls of MSNBC says that Heath "The Patriot" Ledger and "The Spy Who Shagged Me" starlet Heather Graham have hooked up, baby. But that’s only half the story, Walls surmises. Graham and actor-director Ed Burns called it quits just last month. Burns reportedly dumped Graham to chase after his ex -- the ex-Mrs. Jim Carrey -- Lauren Holly. And Aussie Adonis Ledger told Vanity Fair in its August edition that’s he’s single now, and that his last relationship, with model Christina Cauchi, was crushed by his red-hot-and-rising career. Representatives for Ledger and Graham have denied the rumors, of course. The duo are currently in the Czech city of Prague, shooting upcoming and separate films. OK, enough of that. Luc

"We’re glad it’s a name that shares our history in the Industry. It’s a historic name that is as old as the Oscar," John Pavlik, AMPAS spokesman, tells Hollywood.com.
HOLLYWOOD, June 2, 2000 -- Heather Graham's long list of ex-boyfriends just got longer. The actress' publicist confirms today that the 30-year-old "Austin Powers" star has split with her boyfriend of two years, Hollywood multi-hyphenate Edward Burns ("Saving Private Ryan"). No reason for the split was given. The breakup was termed "amicable" by Graham's camp. Graham and Burns were particularly notorious on the celebrity circuit for public displays of affection, in general, and appearing joined at the lips, in specific. Certainly, though, Graham is no stranger to the breakup. Ex-beaus include: James Woods, Kyle MacLachlan, actor Elias Koteas and her "Lost in Space" director Stephen Hopkins. Burns, 32, who wrote, directed and starred in his own breakout vehicle, 1995's "The Brothers McMullen", previously was linked to Maxine Bahns, his "McMullen" leading la
