Synopsis:
The personal story of boyhood friends Alan Canfora and Bill Caldwell, intertwined with the tragic events which took place at Kent State University on May 4, 1970 when the National Guard opened fire on student anti-war protestors. After Caldwell is killed in Vietnam, Canfora turns his energy toward organizing student protesters, eventually helping to plan the demonstration at Kent State. While he and his sister Chic were not wounded, four close friends were not as lucky.
