Synopsis:

Balan is a poor barber living in a village with his wife and three children. He's a very honest man and god fearing, but struggles to make ends meet--his entire family lives in abject poverty. But a rich actor, Ashokraj, who happens to be a childhood classmate of Balan, comes to the village to shoot a film. Knowing this connection, Balan’s wife starts pestering him to go to the actor and ask for money so that their family can come out of the clutches of poverty.
