Synopsis:

In the first days of the Great War, a shell explodes in the face of Adrien, a dashing young officer. Taken in hand by the army's plastic surgeon, he spends the rest of the war in the officers' ward, far from the front lines. Five years out of time. Five years forging invincible bonds.
