Synopsis:
Alex is an aspiring artist who seems to have it made: a model girlfriend and one-man show about to open. Then it all falls apart as his show is canceled and his girlfriend throws him out. Distraught, he moves into a low rent building full of cheerless and crazy types, including a prostitute and a pushy super. But then things look up when the beguiling country-girl Lori moves in across the hall.
