In Muslim Sarajevo, an older merchant buys a wife from her father, and settles down with her between his numerous business trips. After one trip, he discovers that the girl seems to be possessed: she claims he visited her disguised as a demon while he was away on his trip. He visits clerics of every religion, but they are unable to change her story. Eventually, he finds a healer in the person of an ex-soldier, and the real story of her visitor is finally told.
