Three women face a wide variety of problems in their dealings with men in this drama. Cristina (Pilar Punzano), Ana (Silvia Marso), and Rosa (Rosa Mariscal) are sisters who are each dealing with different problems in their love lives. Cristina, who has a good-natured enthusiasm for sex, is trying to get her relationship with Willy (Guillaume Depardieu), a visiting art student from France, off the ground. Ana is trapped in a failing marriage with thoughtless Borja (Guillermo Toledo). And Rosa is a virgin who has buried her ill-starred romantic longings in favor of her career. The three sisters, however, were all at one time or another involved with Mikel (Nancho Novo), a charming ne'er-do-well with a drug habit, and they find their emotional lives intersecting again when Ana nearly dies after taking too many sleeping pills. Amor, Curiosiad, Prozac y Dudas was based the best-selling novel by Lucia Etxeberria, who also adapted her story for the screen.
