Synopsis:
Hap Collins and Leonard Pine are a pair of rough-and-tumble friends from East Texas. Collins is a straight white man; Pine is gay and black. Together they have a way of upsetting the locals in their small-town environment. Pine inherits a broken-down house from an uncle. Once in the house, they come across the skeletons of several children. The story centers on their efforts to track down the provenance of those remains while clearing the uncle''s name.
