Synopsis:
Based on the true story of Henri Young, a petty criminal who, within hours of his release from a three-year stint in solitary confinement, murders the man he believes responsible for his horrifying ordeal. Transferred from Alcatraz to the San Francisco city jail, Young's defense is undertaken by James Stamphill, an idealistic and privileged young lawyer who is determined to reveal the brutality of his client's imprisonment.
