Synopsis:
A high-strung psychiatrist discovers that her new patient, a manically depressed woman, is having an affair with her husband. The psychiatrist tries to salvage her marriage while still helping her patient, but her mistakes along the way drive her patient ever closer to suicide and her marriage ever closer to destruction.
